About Founder Rebs Baijent

Rebs Baijent is a deeply experienced integrative healing practitioner and the founder of Shamanic Spirit, an established practice devoted to supporting meaningful and lasting personal transformation. With over two decades of professional experience, she is known for her grounded presence, intuitive depth, and her ability to hold spaces that are both safe and profoundly supportive.

Her work reflects a lifelong devotion to healing — bridging therapeutic understanding with spiritual depth — and offering individuals a professionally held environment in which insight can deepen, resilience can strengthen, and authentic change can unfold.

Rebs’ path into this work has been shaped by both professional experience and a deeply personal commitment to understanding the healing process. Over many years, her practice has evolved through dedicated study, mentorship, and lived experience — allowing her to develop an approach that is both intuitively guided and professionally grounded.

Rather than arising from a single modality, her work reflects a carefully integrated body of training across therapeutic and spiritual disciplines. This breadth enables her to meet individuals with discernment and flexibility, responding to the complexity of each person’s experience with care and respect.

Rebs’ work is further informed by extensive mentorship within respected spiritual traditions. She has been initiated as a P’aqo within the Peruvian Q’ero lineage and continues to walk this path with humility, integrity, and deep respect for the wisdom it carries.

Her teachers have included Majella Fagan of the Wasaw Wacho of Don Juan Nuñez del Prado, Dr. Owen Roberts of the Kiko Wacho of Don Sebastian Apaza, and the Q’ero elders Don Ricardo Apaza Flores and Don Francisco Apaza Flores of Kolpa Kuchu, from whom she received the Mosoq Karpay initiation. She has also received the Chumpi Rites from Ivan Nuñez del Prado. Study with organisations such as Green Tara College in Ireland, the Scandinavian Center for Shamanic Studies, and Shamanism Ireland has further supported the depth and integrity of her path — alongside years of dedicated experiential practice.

Alongside her spiritual training, Rebs holds a professional background in Health and Social Sciences and has worked extensively within mental health settings, including leadership roles as Manager of Specialised Services and Therapeutic Program Coordinator. Her career has consistently centred on trauma-informed care, crisis support, education, and guiding individuals through significant life transitions.

This clinical and therapeutic foundation brings an additional layer of discernment and responsibility to her work, supporting an approach that honours both emotional safety and the profound nature of transformational healing.
