A holistic therapist & Somatic practitioner works with the whole person — mind, body, emotions, and spirit — rather than focusing on symptoms alone or supporting in just one of these areas. The aim is to understand why an issue is happening and to support your body’s natural ability to restore balance, health, and wellbeing. Holistic & Somatic therapies recognises that physical health, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle, stress levels, and past experiences are all interconnected. Somatic Therapies understand that our bodies hold and expresses experiences, emotions, traumatic events and unresolved emotional issues and that over times these can all become trapped within us creating disharmony, or dysregulation.

What to Expect From a Session

A Holistic Somatic Therapist takes time to understand you as an individual. Sessions may explore your physical health, emotional state, lifestyle, stressors, and personal goals. Treatment is tailored to your needs and may include a combination of therapeutic techniques designed to support relaxation, self-awareness, release and healing.

You’ll also receive tools and aftercare to support your growth between sessions & to turn new self-awareness into meaningful action.

Holistic Somatic therapy works alongside conventional medicine and is not a replacement for medical care, but it can be a powerful complementary approach to improving quality of life

I initially trained as an (ITEC/VTCT “Qualified") Holistic Therapist in the United Kingdom, completing in 2002, and have built upon this foundation with additional therapies and trainings. I am an insured Practitioner and an active full member with The International Institute of Complementary Therapists.
